# Beginner: Preparation

Before starting the Beginner Guides guides, please complete the following steps to ensure your printer is working properly and is connected to your local network.

1. Read the [Critical Warnings](https://quadfusion.printm3d.com/getting-started/critical-warnings-and-information) in the Getting Started chapter of the QuadFusion. This contains useful and important information about what to do and (more importantly) what not to do with your QuadFusion.
2. Follow the [Unboxing & Assembly](https://quadfusion.printm3d.com/~/edit/drafts/-LIRqdq5PX_HDBbChvND/getting-started/accessing-your-sd-card) and [Getting Started ](https://quadfusion.printm3d.com/~/edit/drafts/-LIRqdq5PX_HDBbChvND/getting-started)guides. This will make sure your QuadFusion 3D Print Head is ready to undergo the rigorous Beginners Guide.
